The thermal garden
Over ten hectares of pristine greenery surround Villa Selvatico, creating a lush park, enlivened by thermal waters and the tranquility of time. In the 19th century, thanks to the vision of Giuseppe Jappelli, the park was transformed into a place with a romantic soul: the geometry of the ancient Italian garden dissolved into gentle paths and natural settings, and the landscape became a story.
Inspired by Book VI of the Aeneid, the journey to the Underworld, Jappelli designed groves, fishponds, and soulful perspectives.
